Old Ironsides Association
The Era of Wooden Ships and Iron Men
We are the sailors of The USS Constitution ("Old Ironsides"), the 1797 United States Heavy Frigate. The oldest commissioned warship afloat today.
We are an Association to honor and preserve the history and memory of the ship and its crew; to foster and strengthen the fraternal, civic and personal ties among shipmates; to memorialize those who served onboard the USS Constitution; to aid and support qualified historical, educational and veteran organizations; and to liaison with the Department of the Navy and the USS Constitution Museum.
